Welcome to Age Concern Exmouth
At Age Concern Exmouth we strive to help older people live life to the full with dignity and respect. To this end, we provide services older people and their carers tell us they want and need.
Community. We run a variety of groups to bring the members of our local community together. We currently have Scrabble, Whist, Sit Fit, a Singalong and a Friendship Coffee Morning. Everyone is welcome to attend, we love nothing more than welcoming new faces. Our groups are a great reason to get out and about, as well as to meet new people. There are no strangers here, only friends you haven't met yet!
Home Support. Most of us would prefer to live in our own homes in later life, our Home Support Service can help achieve this. Our team will take the time to get to know you and how you like your home to be kept to ensure that it is a pleasant and safe environment for you. We can cover the full range of domestic tasks as well as offering social support and companionship.
Information & Advice. We offer information and advice on local services, care, benefits and much more. If you are passing the office please feel free to come in for a cuppa and a chat. You will be very welcome.
Hearing Aid Battery Collection. You can collect your new batteries here free of charge.
Coach Trips. We run Coach Trips throughout the year to various beautiful towns in the South West. At this time we have had to cancel our coach trips until November 2020.

Update regarding COVID-19 (17/03/2020)
In light of advice from the Government regarding minimising unnecessary social contact, we have made the decision to take a break from running our events.
Whist, Scrabble, SitFit, Goldies Singing, Friendship Friday and our coach trips will be cancelled until November 2020. We look forward to starting them again in the future and wish all of our lovely attendees well over the coming weeks.
Our centre is open as normal for anyone seeking information and advice, and for the collection of hearing aid batteries. If we run low on these they will be limited to two packs per person.
Our Home Support Service is fully operational. If you are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 (including a high temperature or a persistent cough) OR are self isolating, please phone us on 01395 271242 and let us know. If you are well, we can continue working with you as normal.
Rest assured we are following Government guidelines and keeping up to date with the latest advice.
